New plan for '92 turbo
#1
I was just planning to swap in an '05 5.3 with cam, stall, and gears into my '92rcss. Its already sitting in and almost running, but I just cant stand it though. Now I will be leaving in the 3:08s, putting in a Detroit True Trac, pulling out the 110lsa cam for something milder, and going turbo.
Set up will be a 3200 Vig, 3:08s, 226 114 cam, 42lb inj, pump, t-70 turbo, fmic running about 10psi. Also getting Caltracs and putting on some 325/50-15s. Truck weighs 3800lbs, so it should be pretty quick. We will see

Thought about doing a rear mount in the bed, but I'm leaning toward doing a single front. So much room in the older trucks it seems almost ashamed not to do a front mount. Not 100% yet, but more than likely a front.
I sure dont think the truck wont perform well with a rear, but in this case, it will be easier to fab one up.
