Default New dyno numbers for the 383

Did some more tuning today for my smaller pulley, new injectors, 4" exhaust and a little bit of meth injection. I gained 85rwhp over last year. The methanol gained 20hp and is a pretty safe tune just in case it fails. It put down 565rwtq at just 3500rpm. I'm pretty happy with it.

I forgot to mention that my fuel pumps are maxing out around 5900rpms. Once I get something bigger we will tune for more power at the top. I'm running the stock tank pump and a Walbro 255 inline. Any suggestions for a decent pump setup for this rig?

Thanks guys, it's been 3 years since I started all this and I'm still not done. Sometime early next summer I'm going to upgrade to a bigger blower. For now, with with a better fuel pump setup and further tuning I'm hoping to break 600hp with the 1900.

I'm hoping to run a 1/4 mile within the month. It's such a pain in the *** since they closed our track.

AUTOT3K, next time I see you we'll go for a little spin.

Awesome numbers. I think you could upgrade to the walbro 400 or even the 255 in tank. Overpowering your stock fuel pump is less of a concern since you have a return style fuel system.

Tim runs the 400 and I believe his is fine. I don't even think he runs an inline.

Do you run the OD balancer, or just the standard diameter?

Walbro 400 is ordered. I'll run it with the inline 255 and see how that works.

I run the OD balancer. This blower sounds like a Banshee unleashed from Hades, louder than an air raid siren. Men duck and cower, women and children cry.

YES! Thats what I like to hear. It'll be interesting to see how much boost I make with those same pullies on a cam only LQ9.

With all the parts you have in your build I think its pretty obvious the 1900 is the limiting factor here...
