I made it to Castrol Raceway last night (2 1/2 hours each way) and ran a decent time on 91. The density altitude was 2900 feet. I'm going to install my Walbro 400 and Racetronix harness and tune for more power on the top end. There's definitely more in it. At least I'm in the 11's now.

I had a lot of people come down from the stands wanting to know about this "sleeper".

11's, SWEET!!!

Work on your suspension, traction, launch, etc. Get that 60 foot down another tenth or two, and everything will fall into place. My 11.6's were at 113 MPH, but with 1.59 to 1.62 60 foot and 7.5 sec 1/8th times. I think she's got solid 11.5 in her with a little work and better DA.

Next time I'll try some lower tire pressures. It felt like it was hooking pretty good but I'll try that. I ordered some Nitto 420's and will pick them up this week. As far as suspension goes, I'm not too sure how to improve that. I have Firestone airbags in the rear, would it help to pump them up a bit or do I need some Caltracs? What about the front?

Another thing too, I had to put a real muffler on it because it was just too loud. It's a partial reverse-flow FloPro. I'm sure that doesn't help the numbers much but at least now it's comfortable to drive and doesn't **** the neighbors off too much. I'm hoping to get a 4" cutout in there some day.

Check out this behemoth:

Yes, it was a loud setup wasn't it? But at the same time, it sounded wicked.

Do you have the new Flo-Pro installed yet? Curious about how you like it. I had looked at those before but did not pull the trigger. Since you have "before" dyno numbers with the AEM muffler, will you get "after" dyno numbers to compare? PM me about that, maybe I'll split the dyno cost with you just to get the numbers on the Flo-Pro.

As for the suspension, I saw gains when I limited front suspension travel, and the Cal-Tracs reduced the rear squat. Helped the truck jump forward, rather than lift front & squat rear. I also got aggressive with the tuning on the launch, more timing for more torque, proper fueling, etc. The launch got so aggressive that traction on a 4x4 launch got scary, and that's when drag radials were ordered.

I never did get dyno numbers with the AEM and yes it was a nasty muffler... not far off from an open pipe. The dyno numbers and track times are with the Flo-Pro on, and in fact with a Spintech 4" inline as well. It actually sounds pretty good and I get a lot of comments on it.

One problem is that it still has some drone centred at 1750 rpms. I'm experimenting with a Helmholtz resonator right now but the length might be a little off. We are trying to make it adjustable from 27 to 33 inches. This exhaust system is getting a little heavy in search of a nice sounding, good flowing yet mellow 4" but it's all part of the intended sleeper effect.

We will be driving thru Calgary in a week or two. Don't know exactly when, and we'll be passing thru in a hurry most likely. But if there's a possibility of checking it out, that would be cool.

Congrats on 11's! and at 2900' too... AWESOME!

I think you could trim about .1 off the 60' fairly easy with limiting straps like roger mentioned and some fresh rubber... that alone would put you at about a 11.7x, then a 0 DA could put you at an 11.5 which is freakin' amazing!

I'll have some negative DA nights this coming fall... I can't wait.

What are you currently running for a fuel pump? Also, any idea what your race weight is?
