As soon as I hit the post button, I remembered you having the same or similar problem before.

That they are... There is a thread about it in the sponsor forum on LS1Tech.

I was sworn to secrecy on that one but now that it is public, yes they are. I found out the day I flew there to drive it with Kurt.

oh, not sure i've mentioned this yet. I put the new intake on and holy crap it quieted things down. didn't help my IAT's though at all. still seeing 130+ at cruise speeds. Most of the annoying *** whistle is gone though

Hey, for $100 why not try it.
Did they mention at what vacuume level the upgraded bypass valve is needed?
I checked my truck last night (first time it has run in 6 months) and I have ~16" at idle and cruise. After idling for a fair amount of time to fill the tranny with fluid, it sat for about an hour while I was creating the tune. When I took it for a drive I was seeing low-mid 140 IATs that never came down while I was driving. This is with humid low 80 degree ambient temp. I am hoping the TrickTank will help some but I may need to look into this different bypass as well.

well, they claim if you don't have 20" vacuum at idle you need the other valve. I got it, tried it, it didn't do jack but make my truck run bad. I sent it back. It would get stuck at 0lbs boost then jump hard to 5lbs. kinda scary.
