In this case he doesnt need one, but its usually so the turbo/sc doesnt pressurize the engine case, which is what you are trying to avoid. The pressure before the rotors will never be in boost, so you dont need that checkvalve. That setup should work fine.

Im getting blue smoke in boost. the intake tube and tb and sc is covered in oil. Ya i couldnt see why the crank case would get boost. but reading on here said in boost the pvc reverses its self and thats why its burning oil. So 2 catch cans no check valve?

Thats with turbo setups where the whole intake is pressurized. With your blower its just after the rotors.

Unfortunately that sounds more like piston damage causing excessive blow by. Maybe a cracked ring land. The PCV does a decent job of removing normal vapors, but if there is excessive blowby it will be sucked up through it and forced through by the blower.

Put little breathers on each instead of back to the intake tube and blower and see if there is still blue smoke. If there is, you have piston damage most likely.

Isint the check valve suppose to be in between the magnacharger inlet and the catch can?? That way you avoid the can from getting pressurized? The PCV is already a check valve so I think there's no reason to add another one there

from what it sounds like the PVC valve does not keep out boost.

There shouldn't be boost present at the inlet of the blower, right?
