I think people run them because they think they look cooler.

I agree with you Mark. I know a lot of guys running Supras up here are taking them off and running a similar K&N

from owning a few turbo imports i can tell you they are an oiled foam media... they work ok at first but then the rear side starts to actually lose chunks of them.... looks like you had taken it and started tearing small pieces off.... not like it would hurt anything.... but i say just go k&n no worries....


i think just because they are what the ricers are/were running.... and dont get me wron g they did work good
