my question is...

can i make it work off my brake pedal when i am on the street and off the transbrake at the track...WITH OUT changing the wires up every time...
i know i will have to adjust the 2-step point between the two

Did you put a switch between the ground or the power?

I would use the brake pedal as an arm switch unless you put a second switch in to inturpt the circuit...i dont know if these are made to go on, off, on, off and so on with daily driving just my 2 cents, but i think you could make it work that way.

I found one new for 170...i think i might just have to get it

Yes, it could be as simple as a 1*relay setup, and as complicated as a 3*relay setup depending on how you have everything else wired wired.

i realize this is a older thread but i have a couple questions on this. 1- do you need a line lock or hydro boost for this to work right? 2- are you still using it foose if so how do you like it?

I can answer ?#1, No you do not need line-lock or trans brake to use a two step. However, if your RPM limit is high enough to push through your brakes then I guess you need something for that.

i would say hydro boost is a must, the standard vacuum brakes suck.... mine wont hold my truck back for ****. it just keeps creeping forward

Interesting. So I have a 3k stall and can hold it w my stock brakes at wot to hold it at 3k and 8 psi. If I bought this and set it to 2800rpm. I could use a toggle switch to turn it on and the brake pedal to activate it? What happens at the end of the track when it's slowing down from 6k rpm and I still have the switch on? Will it turn on the 2 step?

How do I get my truck to bark and spit like the big guys? This video didn't seem as nasty as I was hoping
