Default MP112 Shift Points?

Just wondering where the ideal place would be to set the shift points on my 1-2 shift and also my 2-3 shift with my magnacharged 5.3L and other mods in my sig. It makes 7-8 lbs. of boost as well.

I think it depends on your chosen cam as well as the limits of the 112. My set up is similar to yours and I have my 1-2 shift set at 6k, conservative I know but I chose my cam and supporting mods for towing capacity. Many seem to shift at 6200~6500 rpms but I stayed conservative in the hopes of keeping my drive train intact.

Basically here is what I am trying to do. Both shifts are set to shift at 5700 rpms and I am trying to find out if I will gain any performance by raising the shift points higher than 5700 with the stock cam?

Sorry to jack the thread but I also would like to know if power is gained by shifting past 5700 on a stock cam as mentioned above?

I wouldn't shift higher than 5800 with the stock cam.

I shifted at 6100 with a stock cam N/A so with a S/C i wouldn't hesitate on doing the same. It would be a good idea to swap cams tho.
