I was running meth with my old combo in the vette........pretty much its extra fuel.....and also cools the incoming temps. Meth is similar to alcohol injection......just instead of cutting it pure straight meth (why tune based on a dilution, if you screw up it can get ugly...just go straight) drops IAT's and comes in in stages and can be controlled.

also for the boost questions......I assume you read he does have an overdrive crank pulley. ECS (eastcoastsupercharging.com) builds those and they're fairly common in the vette world when people are pushing maggies harder than the usual limits.

Ahhh, didn't catch that. So he's basically spinning the devil out of the blower and using meth to keep his IAT's down, then? Plus, having an overdrive crank and a two stage drive setup means he can overdrive in steps and avoid the belt slip that we truck owners encounter. I like the fact that he is boldly going where no one has gone before. It will be interesting to see how long the Maggie holds up under this abuse before something either wears out or lets go. But he's probably not too worried about longevity at this point.

LMAO that's an understatement.

I haven't found much IAT rescue using meth. I use 100% and if I turned my radix the speed he is, I can't imagine it would stay under 200*'s.

did i miss the video post? I wanna see readings, scans, data...good stuff. HP/TQ at whatever RPM is nice and I guess this is really happening on a over cranked 112, but I wanna see more. Stock motor, 15psi from a roots blower, no HH, no 122, no TVS. For something that the guy knows everyone is gonna question, you'd expect a ton of back up data. Again, not doubting this isn't happening...just daaaaamn.

Short of searching this thread and his, what was the IAT again?

pretty much. I'm more into the vette perf. scene than the trucks these days. But for a truck I love the maggies (my lil 6.0 ain' happy on the big hills with 10K on the bumper) on a vette I think they're an exercise in futility....instant tire smoke, Thats why i went turbo on the race car.....dropped them because of heat and my new street car is getting the old 346 and a centrifugal paxton. Funcool is a character on the vette boards to say the least. Its fun to watch the way those canadians go at each other on the regular. Supposedly he's taken down numerous turbo cars on the street with his 'old' setup. No answer either way if thats with the spray in addition to boost or not. OF course most of those were roll races......not from a dig.
