It probably has a pretty high CR for sure.

How I read it is he was "spinning 3rd gear". On a Dyno? With drag radials? Can the BFG DR's handle the dyno without burning up,...my M&H's sure can't.

Anyway, I agree with dewmanshu. Something doesn't add up here. What was the blower RPM's?

My opinion, calibrate that boost gauge or do some better MAP calculations.

The guy is on corvetteforum, there is always alot of controversy surrounding it seems... but I watched an old video a while back and that thing sure rockets out of the hole for sure, runs 10's with old setup. I think its a 6 speed.

I know this from experiance. An improperly indexed cam can mess with the valve events and cause a "back up" in the manifold, showing ALOT more boost than it should. I had this happen once when a local builder built an engine for me. I wondered how in the hell that 10 pound pulley was making 14 psi. In my case though, the truck was down a good bit on power and had a starting issue because the cam reluctor ring was off from where it should have been. Once the cam was instaled "correctly" boost dropped and power came back up to normal.
I am curious how he can be feeding that much air with that blower to an engine of that size?????? I didnt think anyone else has had any success getting that much from the smaller Maggie.
