Default More Magnacharger Questions

I know its probably getting annoying but ive got a few questions about my new magnacharger.

1. Does anyone know what this is? It came in the kit but i didnt see anywhere what its for.

2. Does anyone know what this line with the white nipple on it is? Its on the drivers side by the firewall and best I can tell it just dumps out under the truck. Doesnt seem to connect to anything.

3. When I try and start my truck it never wants to start right away. I turn the key it just turns over and over and i will let the key back to off and it will keep trying to start for another second or so. Then i try again and it cranks right up. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Dunno about #1,#2 looks like the vent line to transmission and transfer case (if 4wd) #3 usually indicates a fuel pressure issue. Check and recheck for pinched o-ring in the FPR.

There is no FPR on my truck. I guess its built in somewhere cause i didnt have to move it from the stock manifold to the new one. Also when i turn the key i get 60psi right away.

The first looks like one of the tubes you would slip into a radiator hose to extend it?

sounds to me like the fuel pump module was not re assembled properly. I would suggest taking it out and checking to make sure everything is pressed down and in the proper place.

I should have taken a pic from the side but its a solid piece. Its not a tube. It is about 5-6 inches in lenght and maybe 3/8-1/2 inch diameter.

Only thing I can think that it might be is a tool to remove the ring on the fuel pump. Doubt it though.

Isnt the first one the pin to hold the tentioner while you adjust the pulley? There should have been a suplemental instruction sheet included. When you installed the pressure regulator did you get the tiny tiny black o-ring that goes on the nip?Look in your old intake to see if its still in there. The last looks like the tranny vent with the cap off of it.

Ok, i didnt get a supplemental instruction book. On my truck i didnt have to do the FPR. The newer trucks are regulated at the pump i think.

That being the pin to hold the tensioner sounds logical.

Alright, another question.

My boost guage is showing 10lbs with a lq9, radix, 3.3 pulley and dynatechs. That seems so high, and now im afraid to put on the 3.0 pulley. Any ideas why its reading so high? My vacuum side reads right.
