Yes the ambient air was warmer for the 14.5psi pass, the truck was not hot lapped, and there was a very noticeable increase in how quickly IATs increased throughout the run when on 14.5psi compared to 12-13psi.

Running the 3" too. 70mm at 15 psi, im probably needing to upgrade too. George, what we can't figure out is why mine on 15 psi with a commanded 11 degrees, some passes pulling down 7.5-8 degrees and 10.3- 10.4 afr traps anywhere from 5-6 mph faster in the quarter, a solid 5 mph in 8th. I guess we expected his on 14 psi with the 76mm and more timing and leaner afr to run as hard. Mine should be faster up top too, I trapped 121 on 9.5 degrees. Is this all a just of my stock intake vs his holley. Are cam specs are close, he's on a 112 lsa, mines on a 110. I run 3.90s, he runs 4.10s, and we both share tires lol. We both usually dead hook, I'll leave on the 2 step at 3500 and 8-10lbs and cut 1.56s, best of 1.54. I'm pretty sure he was leaving at 3600 and 10lbs and has a best of 1.64. We are good buddies, so constantly compare to get both right.

Atomic, both running 80s, I run a ptc 3500 speced for mine, he runs a circle d 3600 speced for him. The only thing I can add is when I talked to ptc, they said they built mine with a nitrous stator to be loose enough down low for the 4.8 to build boost, but then tighten up real hard. My slip is around 6%, and never locked mine. He has locked his. I run through full exhuast, he has a cutout right off down pipe.
