More boost, slower ET

I hate how the 4L80's do that. Mine shifts all over the place and lockup is same way. They are really picky with the shift mph vs rpm and converter slip jacks with it. I hav mine commanded to lock at 117 mph and it's about 125 before it locks. Much over 6500 RPM will need a dual spring to be good. Sounds like you are on the right track. The stock intake, meth and 2 deg of timing will prob put it at low 11's if you do it before the weather gets hot.

George, don't think that was me. I don't recall seeing anyone stated that a snow performance pump failed due to running full meth, although I do know some have reservations about the quality of their pumps...

When you put 1000+ to an 80 they shift erratically at wot. Sometimes 6100, sometimes 6400. Parish had this issues years ago. I'd love to know a solution

My friend, member on here, said that 1 of his 80e's shifted erratically, and that his past 2 have behaved appropriately. Fastjweb's seems to shift on the money and he's closer to 600hp based on ET...its also a fresh rebuild.
