Default MINI RANT. Need help with my oil dipstick for kbracing turbo.

My dipstick was a little bent to clear my previous headers. So, I was trying to bend it to clear my kbracing log. I convientiely broke the end of my tube off and heard it fall into my oil pan. Whats the chances? Pissed off, I yanked the oil pan and pulled the piece out. Had the pan, steering rack, engine crossmember, all wiring off, and the piece out of the pan in 13 minutes. Got the pan back on and torqued. Then I went to try to bend my spare one to fit and broke it also. I was smart enough to not try to bend it in the block. I was bending it with a vice. I probably broke it out of lack of patience in all reality. I walked away after that. I mess more stuff up when Im angry.

So, whats everyone doing to get their dipsticks to clear with the kbracing log? Is there a stock one I can get at the dealership that clears? Pics would be AWESOME!

Which way are you having to bend it? I dont remember having to bend mine...I did have to trim the end around the bolt hole though.

Didn't have to bend mine, but it did take some head scratching to figure out how to route it. through the manifold.

I want to say it needing bending where it went into the block. Right where it goes into the block. I am trying to run it between the manifold and the head. That seemed to be the most obvious way to me, but may be throwing me off I may just be installing it wrong. Ive been known to do things like that

If its just metal tubing like all the ones I've seen, just heat it with a torch and bend it preferably before, or after cooling. It will bend into place without breaking.
