Meth for trucks
#12
If your run WWF like I do, run the -20* blue stuff. An alky kit seller over on Tech said they tested most all the brands of the -20* stuff and they were all right around 30% meth, 2% detergent and the rest is water. Stay away from the orange stuff and the -40* stuff, as most of it also contains glycol (antifreeze) and I wouldn't want to be spraying that into the motor. Also the +32* stuff has little to no meth in it.

If you are noticing knock @10lbs with premium fuel, and your happy where your timing is, meth injections will be needed. Air temps are getting way out of controll same thing. If you start to run lean, and can not get the fuel you need and do not want new injectors meth can help.
Each truck out there is different and there is no one rule fits all. Water/meth is a great equalizer and helper with all out performance and safety.
Get a good kit if need be, and start small. Progressive type systems will use less overall water/meth then direct on off type systems.

what setup/kit do you recomend for my setup. 5.3 stock with 10#'s of whipple (headers no cats, plenty of fuel/injectors) truck is still in set up stage, tune not done yet, will be custom tune, correct me if i am wrong, meth/water small shot of n20 etc does help add some power but is primarly used to add life to the engine right?? well for boosted applications
