Alright so I got a chance to revisit this. It looks like my pump voltage was low in the first series, around 6.8v at full blast which is why my numbers were lower. After talking to Julio I tried a couple things and got everything lined up. I upgraded the power wire by adding in an additional 12ga wire straight to the 4ga from the battery. I also adjust the controller "initial" **** to about 1:30 clock position from the 11:30 clock position it was before. I also recorded all the voltages this time.

It looks like from doing this I gained roughly 3.5v at full blast which greatly improved the flow numbers.

Controller set to "8". All the way up.

And here is the last one converted to lb/hr

So if we compare this one to my result last time...

Obviously it is working much better now

It is clear the pump is struggling with 3 nozzles at low controller settings. This would indicate I need more tweaking with the turn on and initial settings to really optimize this. It is clear though the pump is at full voltage by 20psi the way I have it set (voltage readings confirm this).

To put some numbers to it, using 2 nozzles after my latest adjustments at 25psi of boost the system is moving 211 lb/hr. Before at these settings it was 131 lb/hr. Thats a 61% improvement. Comparing to earlier with 3 nozzles at the same settings was 139 lb/hr so a 52% improvement over that.

What im getting at is I did not have the system set up well before, but now there is clearly no need for a 3rd nozzle at this point.

For all of you guys with meth systems, you may want to put a volt meter on your pump to make sure its doing what you think it is

I also attached my spreadsheet if anyone wants to see numbers. The second tab is from the first test I ran with the low voltage.

Does hpt have a 12v input on one of the external logging plugs like the 5v ones?

What A/F ratio are you tuning for on 30 GPH meth? I am using 2 M15 nozzles myself.

Sounds good. I am in the low seventies working and tuning my way leaner.

So which nozzles are you using with these tests? Alkycontrol or devils own? I noticed you said you liked the devils own better.

devils own...nozzle brand shouldnt really matter, just the flow rate and rating point
