it runs high tens low 11 afr. i think its not deactivateing fast enough when i let out. its the sts kit. i'm still tuning. i found it easier to set up the BE and PE to work with the meth instead of trying to tune the ve table around the meth.

 

Just so you know, some aggressive polish will take care of that "blued" section, found that out on Chris's truck when i detailed it for him last year.

My buddies said I have thrown out some pretty good footlong flames decelerating

 

when i first started retuning this thing i was way rich. which is why its black like that. i finally got it almost right. it hits low to mid 12 afr when i roll into boost with tcc locked. like going up hills and what not. then when i go wot its 10.8-11.5 . there is a few odd ball spots where i hit 9's but i can't get it figured out just yet.


the fire ball comes after a wot run. ........i think. i'll try to make a video so we can see.

 

You need a tune. She's running too rich.

 

My bumper on my truck looks the same. I use Eagle One All wheel & tire cleaner, spray it on the bumper and tail pipe & hose it off to get the residue off. Although to get my magnaflow s/s tip clean it take some more work with mothers mag polish to get it clean.

 

i still need to make the vid just haven't had time. but its spot on in the tune when wot. i do need to clean it and see if its still doing it.

 

Wish I had a vid of the Procharger vette that did the fireball on the dyno a couple of years back. On decel from a run, it belched dual 3 foot flames. It was running fatter than the wideband could read, when the afr got right, it was much better. But in any case. I think that with a little DFCO tuning, I think that it should could completely go away.
