Max WHP for boosted truck on street tires

You just completely contradicted yourself.
You don't spin from a dig...thus 4WD is what it's cracked up to be. You're probably running mud tires that are hard as a rock, not to mention 500 is nothing these days as you know. There's plenty of vids of 4wd trucks hooking up on the street with 1000rw, still haven't seen a 2wd do that.

I've done this on my 35s and I've done this on stockers which are soft and 265 wide
Yes 500 isn't dick these days and don't think I'm making it out that my power isn't anything special as it's not but my power or boost isn't controllable like from a turbo , with how my procharger is pulley'd it's spun hard and hits hard
All this was with stock 342 gears now with the 488s it's a joke
Done this on warm roads as well
For the next guy I've ran the nitro nto5r drag radials in 20s, biggest waste of 6XX dollars I've spent..lasted 1200 miles and wouldn't hook at track or street
Video of me on 800 rwhp blowing them off for 1/8 mile
Even at 600 rwhp I spun at track and roast them on highway...side wall isn't large enough for a truck with power

Disclaimer: I just wanted to post this for information only not to argue ok? My 07 4wd was never dyno'd but I'm thinking maybe 450+? I cut a 1.69 and a 7.64 1/8th, bone stock suspension on the Stock factory 20's (Goodyear 275/55/20). Raceweight ~ 5150. It was on a cold track too and it did jump around really bad (no straps). I did loosen the torsion bar tension on the way to the track, Then put it back at home...10 min job. It wasn't bad on the street either at that power level. Put 6-7 bus lengths on a C5 vette twice on the street from a dig. He was a 6 spd but actually an experienced driver. There were many others. I know 4wd isn't magic but look what Parish did on street tires and Stock 48 on track tires. Its the only reason I would even buy a 4wd...traction on the street. 2wd can be better at the track because of weight but y'all already know that. Oh btw my '14 GMC 5.3 4wd with 700 miles on it beat an SRT8 Challenger until 3/4 track once and half track the 2nd time. And a Camaro SS till 3/4 track lol. (1/8 mile times). Safe to say I'm a fan of 4wd!

George, if you're having problems finding traction at 500-ish with a 4x4, you're not trying very hard. It doesn't take very much effort, and it's a whole lot easier & cheaper than trying to make a 2wd hook at the same power level. And that was the point of my post.
