Default Magnacharger Tuning

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum, but it looks like the perfect place to ask this question. Why do we have to send the control modules to get them reflashed with Magnacharger?? Why not just use a Diablosport or something alike? It would be that much easier ĦĦĦ Well, there are my 2 cents regarding this. Also, why is the speed limiter not taken off ? I am in the process of purchasing a Radix Magnacharger for my 2008 silverado new body (I just sold my Procharged FX4), and when told that I had to send my control modules to get them programmed, everything came to a stop, I can´t be without my truck for a week ĦĦĦ
By the way, anyone here selling one that will fit my 5.3 ?
Thanks...

Dude to the newness of the model year, there are several operating systems and fuel systems the hand helds could cause you more issues than the shipping of the PCM.

If time is an issue, i will authorize next day shipping for your PCM and the turn around would be about 1 day.

My opinion...your are getting into something that will become addicting and having a second computer couldn't hurt. Just my opinion...buy one and send it off and have Maggie set you up for you while you are able to still drive around.

VERY good advice! Buy news modules from a junkyard or dealer, send those to Magna, that way you have your stock and the modified ones.

DooOoOoOoo it!

I did ask, they (magnacharger) said that they don´t have a tune for a handheld tuner yet... I hope they will develop them soon ĦĦĦ
