How are you swapping the tune? What are you using to do so? Was his truck actually tuned for the cam?

He has efi live tuning material, he was planning on doing all of his own tuning instead a local shop dyno tuned it for him bc he was needing it done fast. I just didnt know if the cam differences would be a big deal.

Either way the tune is going to need tweeked in your setup as no two setups like the same thing. If he has software then just do it right.

Ok, thats cool. im not familiar with how to tweak anything, he got the tuning material and ended getting his truck dyno tuned bc his truck isnt exactly street legal, and he needed it done. Any input would be greatly appriciated.

It's an ls6 cam Jared, lol. My truck was dyno tuned with this cam @ Injected Engineering in Kennesaw,Ga. Jared wants the Maggie but I'm not sure how his would run if we just swap the file into his PCM, since his 5.3 is stock cammed. A better idea would be to just swap the cam/springs with the blower, no?

I use EFILive for doing LS swaps but not sure I'm up to the task of actually tuning. Plus mine is cable and Jared's is DBW so that is another complication.

lol ls6 then, im thinking we can tune it we can run this one down the road and we already have a base to go by. ls6 cam 204 degree intake / 211 degree exhaust Camshaft lift (in): .525 intake / .525 exhaust. ls3 cam .525-inch intake and exhaust valve lift. Duration (@ .050 inches) is 219° intake and 228° exhaust. My cam...190/191 int/exh @ 0.05" duration 0.466" / 0.457" int/exh lift. or at least thats what i can find lol
