Default Radix question

My eaton supercharger just started a whine at idle. Sounds like its in boost,but its not. Any Idea's anyone ? truck is a 2002 5.3 tahoe.. thanks

Did the vacuum line rupture or come off the bypass valve? Push the rod by hand on the bypass valve and see if the noise goes away.

O.K! I did what You suggested Gadgetized. The vacuum hose was good,so I pushed the actuator rod in and it stopped.So I took a mirror to look inside the actuator, the orange boot is torn. So do I need a new actuator? or just change the boot ?
