Welcome to PT.net
You don't set psi with the magnacharger, you swap to a smaller pulley to spin the blower faster if you want to up the boost.
Your stock Radix will make about 5-6lbs, I suggest you start with that and go from there. Read up on this forum, must be 100 of us running the Radix, some stock and some at max efficiency.
BTW I moved this to the FI section so you will get some better response! PTL!!

The LQ4s can handle a little more boost than 6 psi with the right supporting mods and the correct tuning. I would take trever1t's and 2005SSR6Speed's words as great advise for a noob and start with the install and stock tune just to get it on the road and start reading. I found the search button answered about 85% of my questions and there are a lot of resources to answer the not so common issues.

Words of advice....Install the stock kit and get it running before you start adding more parts. I have the kit on the floor and since its not installed yet, I have added much more to the pile w/o even knowing what a stock radix feels like ... the poor check book hates me now. Also I went ahead a bought a FTL lvl 5 4l65e tranny... the stock 4l60's can't take the weight of the truck and low end of the radix. It's not a matter of if.. it's a matter of when you kill the stock tranny. The FLT costs about $3500, but you can get cheaper from other shops.. but still count on $2000 for a tranny. Just keep that in mind for a budget
I've also heard that the lq4's can take 7-7.5 psi and live for a while with a good tune. That is my goal atleast to keep it in that range
What vehicle do you have that motor in.. is it a yukon denali or a sierra denali? Those power ratings match those trucks

That motor all stock can take a beating. Guys on here have done plenty without spending a bunch on aftermarket parts. I've actually gone back to stock pan, and shud have stayed with stock rockers, rods and crank. OEM parts are really very well made. R/
