guys with turbos and the z06 cam with truck manifolds what rpm are you shifting at and how is your cam installed? mine is advance and doesn't want to pull past 5900 rpm.

what size motor? mine pulls strong, but it seems soon as it tries to pass 5900 it really falls off. i shifted it at 5900 and it pulled way better.

I think I am going to be shifting right around 6k as well. I shift out at 5800ish right now on my stock cam, but my 67/81 falls off around 5300-5400. Once I upgrade and put the LS6 cam, I think it will pull decent to 6k

so mine being advanced and pulling to 5900 is about right then. i do have to say it pulls hard. its a little harder pull now with 100* iat and 13* timing as the stocker with 70* iat and 18* timing. so when it cools off and the timing goes back up it should be sick!

well people install it straight up and dyno shows drop in low end torque. the z06 pulls to like 6800 rpm which i don't need. and the truck intake has been basically proven to not like to pull high rpms either. so i figured i would put the cam where every thing else agrees in rpm. the cam feels like stock down low but when boost comes in it really kicks. it just falls after 5900 rpm.
