Is the whine because youre using a 2002 TAC on a 2004 truck? Just wondering if my 2002 harness, adapted for the 90mm TB by that "other adapter comapny", will sound like that.

Not sure about that. It could be, or it may be a 02 TAC/LS2 90mm thing. Have to check with another 02 owner who has done the 90mm swap. The whine is not as noticeable when the engine is running and the intake tube installed.

ok well went and hooked it up made it look all perty and for the first time in 6 moths i hooked up the battery cables. beside the 10 codes i found the tb worked but only for a second. it did the little flip for the test and when i had it in the run position in park it opened 100% but then went into reduced power. i think because i dont have my map, evap, low volatage and quite a few toher things so im not 100% sure it will work yet.

i know in reduced power it wont allow the tb to open all the way but after it went into reduced power it didnt move at all. and idea drx? i need to get my hands on a ls2 tb to see wtf.

well tried it again and its only when i give it 100 throttle that it goes into reduced power. it opens 100% and goes to educed . it may be beacuse all of the snesors are nto plugged in.

I think with the SSR TB it will try to go past 100%. You could try jumping the grey wire on either side of the X-Link and see what that does. There is no throttle control in REP mode. The springs hold throtlle at something around 18%.

In this setup the TPS 2 signal is modified. Had to design a custom circuit board to make this work.

Did you use simple circuits or did you have to write a program for a chip? I am just wondering if you would be willing to give me info, I work at an electronics company and would most likely be able to make my own.
thanks.
