Default Ls vs Coyote dyno

This is 10 months old but on the engine dyno at Westech a 427 with Procharger made 1785.6 and 1422.6 with stock head bolts, lifters and rockers. The Coyote made 1307 and 903.1. Both had a 15k budget so corners had to be cut. But 30 lbs of boost on stock head bolts before the Ls blew a head gasket? Coyote busted a timing chain and other crap at 32lbs. They are doing rebuilds and shooting for more!

I'd like to see the graphs. I'm betting the coyote power is much higher in the RPM range.

I watched that series a while back. I hope when they redo it they have head bolts this time.

As I recall it was basically 7500 vs 6500 more or less peak. 4.1 hp per ci vs 4.3 on the Coyote

I think that's implied to use head bolts next time.
I only do FB for the Grand kids pics and of course my company a bit. It's such a time waster. Guess this can be at times.

FB? only the market place to look for go fast goodies!

i have a cousin and a good friend with Coyote's one is spinning it to close to 8k rpm's it screams! like the LS they respond well to mods BUT cost wise repair bills are double for Coyote's! right now my ls3 forged 416 all new brand name parts im around 7k my cousin has a 13 gt500 he's a scared to push that car since to replace his engine is like 15 to 18k for a forged replacement

my friends full bolt'on tune (stock internals) some weight reduction ran 10.79 @ 128mph cut 1.41 60ft with his 13 gt 5.0 was impressive to watch

Impressive!
I actually seriously considered buying a new F150 RCSB 10 speed with Whipple dealer installed but decided against it because of what I've heard on reliability and cost of repair. Sure would be nice though to just buy something that runs with a warranty. It's a business write off anyway. And GM can suck me because we have to buy a 50k truck to get what we want and they don't even make a RCSB anymore much less with the good stuff. Probably keeping my rig or even an earlier model but it's on the back burner now for another year.

last month my son was watching youtube showing the Shelby Super Snake F-150 755hp crew cab 2wd (dont like the 4x4 version) with warranty local dealer had one was under sticker but still $81k i was hot for it watching that video found one at a local dealer but it sold before i got there, next morning i came to my senses and thought WTF was i thinking lol but nothing left to do to it tinted window, bed rug, bed cover, rims i mean really nothing to add or change unless you like popboys chrome lol

i told my wife i want to upgrade my 06 f350 crew cab flatbed drw diesel to maybe a 13 or so f250 crew cab swb once i do that trade our suv in on a new c8 since the kids dont hang out with us much any more and a f250 single wheel would be more driver friendly for her on days on in the c8 she said i need to give up my c5 zo6 not sure i can part with that car just yet.....
