got it all fixed up! snapped the input shaft. best part was that my trans guy fixed it for free! and i know why it snapped too... the torque management was all the way off only for the 2-3 shift. needless to say it was bound to happen. anyways i got a new dd in preparation for the down time of the k5. i found a guy locally that will fab he hot side with all the flanges and bungs for $400... i wanted to do it myself but i think that a smoken price right?

been a while. started doing some mock up with some C6 manifolds my buddy had. Im thinking of going twins so i dont have to fit a crossover pipe and ill have more room for a down pipe. also figured i can fit a 5" intercooler behind my grill if i move my radiator back! WIN!!!
i also eliminated another weak point... long story short was offroading going hammer at 90mph when my ujoint at the tcase blew and sent my driveshaft for a ride. threw out my pinion support bearing in my 14 bolt, bent the output shaft of my np241 as well as cracked the tailhousing, so i upgraded to an SYE with a Tom Woods double cardon 1350 shaft. now the weak point is my front axle...
anyways im still plugging away at this. i confirmed i do have a walbro 255 in my tank.
ive also decided i want big turbos with low boost because its cool and i figure the lag will help save my truck when i beat it from a dig.
what say you about twins?
