What is the consensus on IAT inside on the intake manifold? Mine is currently pre-TB. I bought a sheet metal intake and it has ports underneath in the back 1/3rd. Would that give the ECU a better idea of intake temp for the back cylinders? If it doesn’t help, but also doesn’t hurt, I’d still like to move it there to clean up some wiring.

You want it pre TB because you won’t be getting an accurate reading. Your sheet metal intake will get heat soaked and now your IATs are higher than they should be.
