Default What AFR when spraying meth?

Right now i am commanding 11.5 at 8psi without meth. I plan to start spraying as soon as i finish up my install. Just curious if you still shoot for 11.5?

Sorry i have never tuned for meth before.

Are you running strait meth or a mix? I command 12.6 end up with 11.2 sprayin strait meth, took a lot of playing both on the controller and the tune to get it there.

The way to tune for meth is to get your fuel right (as you did), and then get your meth running the way you want it to, then retune to your 11.5 (which will me removing fuel in the pids where your meth is flowing).

Eric is right if you want to use the meth as a main fuel. I like to just spray it on top for the cooling and added octane. This means mine will run slightly rich but so be it. Say I have 11.5 fuel only, ill look for 11.0ish with meth.

You can also add your meth and then bump the timing until it knocks, then back off a degree, or turn up the boost a bit instead -- but given that you want 12 psi, I'd do the fuel bit.

we are spraying a good amount of meth in my setup. its at 10.8 doesnt give me any issues being so rich and doesnt make much if any power leaner. no knock at 13# even in high heat hot lapping it

i like to keep it a little rich on meth. right now its at 11.2, been as rich as 10.8 in the past on meth. richer and more timing made more power than lean and less timing.

Cool seems like 11.2 is a good AFR to shoot towards.

BTW i am running 2 nozzles. One being a 3 and the other a 7. According to a calculator on Devils Own website, it recommended a 9 for a 6.0, 8psi and 6000rpm shift point. So i will be spraying a little more than recommended.
