Default lq9 with vortech head unit. what intake??

ok guys, heres the issue. i have just installed a lq9 into my bagged and body dropped rcsb. the issue is the stock intake hits the firewall due to not notching it enough. i would really like to take that off and put a better flowing intake like an ls6 or edelbrock. however, these are the questions i have, i would really like to go ls6 intake, but would i have to get a different blower bracket? and how does the edelbrock flow?would i have to change any pulleys for that? my first choice would be the ls6 for looks and power, but i dont want to buy another blower bracket. thanks in advance

cant say for sure , i know you have to modify the stock alt bracket to run a car intake and on the vortech bracket it moves the alt towards the intake slightly so you may just have to cut more or you may rin into problems with the tb to intake tube . i know on my old setup when i did the vic jr with the elbow i had less than half inch between the alt and the 90mm tb.
