11-1comp and 10 or so psi isn't going to get along. You will need to have meth injection, dump some timing in your tune if you want it to last.. How about trying a bigger pulley or a boost of around 5-6 psi

The 4.10 is good for about 11.5-12lbs on a 370.

Is your bother running 317's? If not, that's an inexpensive way to drop the compression down to a boost friendly level.

Boost depends on the spec's of the motor. Heads? Cam? Headers? etc. As for the compression, with good fuel it'll last a while. Race fuel will get old real quick though. If it's a 370 I assume it's compression is high from the cylinder head choice so as they've said just change the heads or at least take them off and open the chambers up a bit and you'll be fine. Get the compression down to 10.5:1 or so and you'll be fine.

At 10.5:1 you should be able to run 8psi without a problem. 10psi with carefull tuning and 93 octane minimum.
