Lq4 tt buildup......What do you truck guys think?
was wondering what kind of safe hp can you squeeze out an lq4 with
pretty much a stock bottom end minus rod bolts and a couple of things like valve springs and mls head gasket etc.....No forged internals not going crazy>
Would I be able to hit 5-600hp with about say 10 psi on 2 gt45's on 91 up oct? Any recs are cool......Thank you lsx gods......

Best cam for tt lq4 buildup....ADvice please?
I will be running two gt45 garrett ballbearing turboes and want 5-600whp
at no more than 12psi.....I also want something that I can later on up the boost if I want.....I really dont see the stock cam being good enough...But then again these lsx engines are sick,,,,,
Also what about fuel...throttlebody,head gasket etc.....Any suggestions will help...Thanx Guys....Thecarguy84@live.com
Ohhh by the way....as the car sits it weighs about 21xx lbs.......Gues what it is...

Lq4 parts interchange.....

What is swapable between an lq4 and other ls style engines(ls1,2,3,6 etc)
What about bottom end parts? Rod bolts from ls2?
Intake manifold from ls1,2, or 6?.....Best price and performance....
How much taller is the lq4 manifold as opposed to an ls6?
I hear lq4 is better for torque slightly less hp on top end.....

What about mls headgaskets?......I want a thick one....As thick as possible..
what size gasket and bolts studs should I use?
I hear the lq4 pistons are good till 550-600hp
