Either way will either of those intercooler a be an improvement over my current one? If so I will order it tomorrow and hopefully have it in by Friday for some more track time on Saturday.

You can still grab the coupler from me. I'm just too busy right now to do anything.

That won't fit without a lot of modification. And it would take another 75-100 for more tubes to make it work behind the grill

I just remembered that when I did my 80e swap on December, the crank balancer bolt was loose. I tightened it back. If I was spinning the crank at high rpms it wouldn't make boost. I have a crank pinning kit somewhere. I was wanting to change cams down the road so I was going to wait. Guess ill have to find it and pin the crank and see what happens.

Thats the biggest no no ever. The crank has to be pinned, at anything over 5-6 lbs of boost. Next off is I am running a ebay IC, with ZERO issues as far as boost, as is plenty of other people. Next your cam may be bleeding some boost, but not that much, is not the issue if it wasn't in the past. Your basically just throwing parts at this to find a answer. Start at step 1.. Pin the crank. Keep the IC, have some one look over your tune. Make sure your pipes are or have some type of bead or lip on them so they don't blow apart. Your not making all the HP you think you are. I would take the truck to a reputable shop to be honest.

I want a cam with better low end to match my 3200 rpm converter. I can see in my logs where the rpms really start to climb at 3600. I was looking at the futral f7 224/230 .58/.59 114lsa. I will look for my pinning kit but a lot of my stuff got moved around when my wife and her 3 year old moved in. Most of the pipes are the ones procharger sends and have the bead or raised piece. I used hair spray on all of the couplers and have t bolt clamps at all connections as well. I have posted my logs and tune on the efi love website for their guidance on the tuning.

And as far as the hp that I "think" I am making. I've already said that I'm only low-mid 500s. I'm keeping the intercooler that I have now because it both works great and looks killer behind the grill. One of my good friends that helps me with my truck is an ase certified mechanic and is a c130 crew chief. Which means he's responsible for that plane. Last time my truck was in a shop they backed it into a pole and refused to pay for the damage. Not to mention the $90+ an hour charge
