Forgive me if this is obvious, but like the OP I'm kind of starting out from zero here.
Can you put an LT4 supercharger on a cathedral-port (LQ9) engine reasonably simply?
I see that there are adaptor plates like this available - is that what I'd need? Does anyone sell a kit with the necessary pulleys and such?
I'm looking at stuff like this on eBay.
Im no expert, yet; got a couple decades to go: but unless they are machining the blower or setting you up with port injection, there is no way to use that blower and get fuel into the motor; unless you have a gen5 LT

Ah- that makes sense, as the injectors are on the intake manifold.

Been thinking about this kit for my '04 Sierra housing a stoker motor at present. How easy was the install?
It was simple. Took about 3 hours start to finish. Then to install an intercooler was another few hours. Im sure in an 04 Silverado would be a breeze since they offer intercoolers to fit your application. Mine is in an 86 c30
