Forgive me if this is obvious, but like the OP I'm kind of starting out from zero here.
Can you put an LT4 supercharger on a cathedral-port (LQ9) engine reasonably simply?
I see that there are adaptor plates like this available - is that what I'd need? Does anyone sell a kit with the necessary pulleys and such?
I'm looking at stuff like this on eBay.

Many thanks,
Tom

I have yet to hear about anyone using the LT blowers on the LS motors. Do you have a link to the adapter plates?

Im no expert, yet; got a couple decades to go: but unless they are machining the blower or setting you up with port injection, there is no way to use that blower and get fuel into the motor; unless you have a gen5 LT

Ah- that makes sense, as the injectors are on the intake manifold.
Much appreciated.

The link you posted is for LS motors

the issue with the blower you posted is it's for direct injected motors. The injectors are in the head, not on the manifold like port

if you have a gen3/4 LS the only OE blower you can use is the LSA

It was simple. Took about 3 hours start to finish. Then to install an intercooler was another few hours. Im sure in an 04 Silverado would be a breeze since they offer intercoolers to fit your application. Mine is in an 86 c30
