Why not go with a bigger or sticky tire?

I'm with quick on this one. I don't see how the same exact setup looses boost by droping 500lbs when you still probably wiegh 4000 at least.

Changes were stock to patriot stage 3 heads, 90mm to stock tbody, and tall elbow to car style elbow. Didn't get chance to weigh truck but should be around 4500, I hope.

You lost boost cause you have less restrictions thus more air flow less psi

Tah dah good heads for the win .... errrr loss in this case.

When I went t my new heads and cam I had to crank the snot out of the bost controler to get my high boost back to 13. And it still won't hit a full 13 like it use to.

I guess the real question is how do I get my boost back. Already shimmed spring and no difference. It gives higher boost in 1st gear then loses about a pound as it shifts. Really thinking gear swap would fix my problem.

boost is only a measure of restriction. id rather have 15psi at 850rwhp then 15psi at 700rwhp

make mostpower NA then add boost. shimmin the spring doesnt always work, did you try a boost controller?
