Default Labonte Meth Injection Kit

So I picked up this Labonte meth kit today for my built motor (when I finish it), but it sure is hard having new truck parts just laying around!! So my question is, will installing the meth on my current setup allow me to tune for more boost safely or create more power at same boost I'm running right now? I'm currently running 8-9psi of boost on my genIV stock 5.3 motor. It's a super nice kit with a failsafe device... Plus it's starting to get hot out here in El Paso! Any input is appreciated.

I'm gonna go ahead and throw the kit on today and play around with it! From my current 91 octane tune my truck stays in the 11.2-11.5 A/F range... And that's all we have out here in El Paso besides E-85. When I run E-85 on my current 91 octane tune the truck runs a little lean in WOT, around 12.5-13.2 so last night I filled up with 1/2 E-85 and 1/2 91 and drove around a bit. My A/F was around a steady 11.8-12.2... So I'm gonna run a 50/50 mix at around 70% pump duty cycle, and see where that puts me on A/F ratio... Then go from there

Also I'll be doing a re-tune out at T.E.S. In Lubbock on the 19th (on straight 91 octane, plus meth), so I'll have some new numbers to compare to my current tune on 91 with no meth at 8-9psi of boost! Which made 450hp and 500tq

It's coming together! Got the pump and the solenoid set on the drivers side battery tray... Was gonna use the resovoir that came with the kit, but I didn't like the way it was all jammed in together... So I tapped the bottom of the factory washer fluid resovoir and plumbed it to the pump from there. Plus it already has a low fluid sensor, so that saved me some work.

Got the controller mounted in the console storage.. Figured it would be easier to make adjustments on the fly... And when tuning!

Got it all plumbed in and running! Can't wait to see the difference it makes on 91 octane gas!

You want the pump to be the lowest object in the system so you dont have cavitation or starvation problems.

Thanks for the info atomic! I'm gonna look for a lower spot to mount the pump. That would also free up the space on the battery tray, so I could mount the other container there and tie it in with the factory resovoir. That would give me around 2 gallons on meth!

Atomic, this labonte pump has an adjustable set screw for pump pressure. It's adjustable from 150-250psi... It also has a internal bypass, so it can make consistent pressure without cycling. What should I set the pressure at?... I would think 250psi for the best atomization?
