Default KBracing Compound turbo kit doing work!!

Well finally got to make some 1/4mile passes at the HPTrucks October truck Madness event. Best pass went 11.43@122.5mph. This is boost only @ 15psi on a stock 4.8L. I'm really happy with the results and see 10s in the near future with a better 60ft. Goal is low 10's@20psi and would be awesome to see high 9s@20psi with nitrous. 10s I know is possible but I may be shooting a little high going for 9s. hahaha My last pass was the 11.43 run and had a awesome race with the guy in the right lane. Here is the time slip

Yeah I'm sure 9s are out of reach, actually I know they are out of reach but hey I can try right. LOL

Thanks!

I have a few things to work on to get my 60ft times better. I'd like to see 1.7 to 1.6 60s. I think with a good 60 the current set up @15psi would get me a 10 sec run. Currently I can only build 2 to 3 psi at the line at 2100rpm. Anything past that and the wheels start to spin because of the drum brakes out back. I'll be converting to disk brakes and hope to build 8-10psi at 3k rpm. That should get things moving down low. Hope to go back in 2 weeks.

I love this truck. Its cool to see something different too. Can't wait to see what you can push the 4.8L to on 20psi
