The crossover and down pipe are aluminzed steel tubing, the manifold is sced 40 steel pipe, the cold side is aluminzed steal also. Everything is MIG welded.

 

All together I spent about 700, guages, wiring, sending units, pods, paint... Everything. I know its expensive but you've gotta have good instrumentation when dealing with a system like this.

Everything listed, I've got around 5700 or so tied up.

 

I'm hoping to have under $3500 into my build including everything. I'm not buying everything at once though so I have the ability to scope out deals.

 

That would have been nice but the cost of the full kit was more than that... I didn't want to deal with a bunch of used parts this time. I have gotten fed up with incomplete and incompatible stuff so I bought new... I could have probably done it for less but I wanted it a certain way, and that required dropping more money... No sweat though. Its the way I like it and everything works VERY well together in my setup.

 

Do you have any option for a ball-bearing turbo?

 

Would have to look into more for exact number since MP doesn't make a BB turbo. Would have to go with a T-netics or something similar turbo and be probable be in the $5-600 upgrade price range.

what were your track times with the turbo 4.8?and as far as mods,boost?

 

12.6@ 105 I think was the best with the 4.8 in Phoenix. Motor was stock, other then the Vince ultra torque cam and meth. 12 psi of boost. Truck weighs 5400lbs.
