Ya, my kit won't fit you truck. I don't know of any turbo kit for your truck. It would have to be custom made.

I'm gonna try to talk KBRacing into building a Vortec 454 kit for me when I get some more money rounded up. I have a 1989 K-1500 RCSB with a Vortec 454 swapped into it.

I know this thread is old, but I got a few small questions

Couldn't you use a Shorty header on the driver's side (just for looks) because it would be the same dimensions as the stock manifold and would bolt up to the crossover in the same spot, correct?

Does the crossover or wastegate hang very far below the frame? My truck is slammed, so would I run into trouble? Does the crossover get in the way of those bracing bars / \ that look like that under the engine? Reason I ask is because I drag those all the time over speedbumps and such, so I bet the crossover would too

You could run a shorty as long as the flange is in the same spot as the stock manifold. No part of the hot pipes hangs below the frame. My trucks doesn't have the braces, but I don't think they have any issues them. The crossover goes under the rear of the bell housing

my Wastegate does hang down some.... but thats all... about an inch below the frame, which doesnt sound like much but when your takjing about trucks who only have 4 inches of ground clearence to begin with, youve gotta be careful what you drive over...

For a similar price, is there any way you could weld up a kit for a BBC?
