Default Katech EXTREME D-I Fuel Pump System

Help me understand this system? Could I add this to my existing Supercharged L86? Replace the 4.00 pulley with a 3.00 pulley and that would increase horsepower? I would not have to change the camshaft or any other internal parts?

Holly crap for 4,500 buck I would swap cams. I don't think I would want to push AFM lifters to that level. I'm no expert though.

I agree it would be cheaper and safer to replace the cam and lifters.

But is that what they are saying this fuel system will do?

i think you would still need to upgrade injectors and probably in tank (low side) pump

This is just the high side pump... If you are at the hp level to consider using this pump, you will have already upgraded low side fuel pump(Range: $1,000/inline -$3,000/fore in-tank triple) and injectors (Range: $400/lt4's, $3,000+ for LT4+10%).

Currently going thru fuel system upgrade on Turbo Gen V truck (switch from Whipple) as we speak, after having done same on C7 Z06. I decided to go port injection route. Parts list:
- LT4 Injectors
- LT4 HPFP
- Crawford Racing 1st gen Port Injection Kit (uses stock E38 ecm as secondary controller)
- Custom Magnafuel Inline Fuel Pump
- Flex Fuel Capability (pending)

Total Spent (no incl intake manifold): ~ $3,200

Built system to do 800-900 comfortably
