I finished up the install of my STS kit w/FMIC and took a drive with it. I noticed a few things that i think is normal since it isn't tuned yet and still has stock injectors and just wanted to see what you thought about it.
I know i can't boost on the stock injectors so i didn't even think about it, but i did want to make sure that it would build any boost at all. So i watched the gauge and gave it a little gas to see it just go into the positive side of the sweep and as soon as it got to about between 0-1 psi it would kinda surge. I assume that its because of the injectors so i didn't try it anymore.
Also just cruising it seemed to have a very slight surge to it. Is that an effect of the turbo in the exhaust flow? It may have just been my imagination.

iv'e already got 42lb injectors and a walbro 255 inline pump. The pump will go on this weekend along with meth injection kit and the i'll install the injectors after the 3 hours drive to my tuner on monday.
I just want to be as sure as possible that everything is ok before i get it on the dyno, thats a bad time to find that something is screwed up.

Why can't you boost on stock injectors?!
You're safe at 5-6 psi on stock injectors but need a tune to do so.
What truck do you have? I don't see anything in your sig.
Welcome to boost land turbo bud.

You gotta get things tuned. Vacuum signals based on incoming air and rpm are now going to be off and your stock pcm tune isn't gonna understand that. For my Dodge, surging is due to incorrect map voltages based on throttle position and rpm and vacuum.
