Get it tuned! I made decent power with the stock fuel system on my 4.8L. I was dangerously lean though, so injectors and a pump shouldn't be far behind.

yeah my wife doesn't care, as long as we have money left to pay the bills. I've built 2 camaros in the past 3 years and now im working on the truck. Its my only hobby and she understands that.

I took it out for another drive today and put the throttle to the floor and it didn't build any boost at all, it came up to 0 and pretty much stayed there. Is that normal since its not tuned yet or should i be worried about that?

Check all your silicone couplings to make sure there all on correctley. Make sure your clamps are all tight too. It's not normal for it not to build boost. The turbo doesn't care whether you're tuned or not. But I advise you to get a tune before you start getting into boost.

Cool

That definately does not sound normal to me. If your turbo is spooling up you should be seeing boost. Where do you have the vacuum/boost line to your boost guage connected? You can also check all the silicone connectors on your intake tubing to make sure that they are not loose or blown off.

i checked that all the couplings were connected and tight. And the boost reference for both the wastegate and gauge is coming from the manifold
