Congrats on the new family member Who's meth kit did you buy (Snow or Alky other) is it installed?

breeze- i bought the snow kit. i installed it yesterday and it was a pretty easy install and is ok as being complete. but i am having a problem with it coming on. i think its just a ground problem or a wiring problem. im going to troubleshoot it as soon as i get a chance. then ill actually be able to tell ya how it does.

well ive got it working. so far it seems to work good. i havnt had a chance to tune it yet, but it seems to inject very quickly. but it seems to do it a little to low in the rpm band, so im messing with the voltage regulator to fix this. ill be able to tell about how it performs by monday of next week.

 

Ill stay tuned this is very high on my list of things to do just that money is a lil tight right now as I just bought a new work van I guess I should keep my priorities strait huh.

 

yeah i hear ya man. just out of curiosity, how much timing are you runnin now? cuz im running 20 degrees or so with no knock. this is without the meth. most people say thats alot without meth, so im beginning to wonder if the meth is really gonna let me get anymore timing out of it.

 

Im runnin 17 degrees atleast with meth you know it should be safe. I think Js01silverado or someone with a name like that is runnin like 25 degrees (seems real high to me) with a similar setup as mine but with meth. Im hopeing for 22 when the time comes.
