If anyone gets a chance, check out the link I posted in Post #26. I am thinking that I won't have to cut the supports with this intercooler. All of the specs and flow ratings are listed in the link.

I think its the same one that I am using. There measurement are of the core, not counting the end plates, but you would have to call or email them to be sure.

You can get the OBX intercooler in different sizes from trtturbo. Not sure exactly what kind of options you have, I just know that is a choice.

This thread is chocked full of excellent information!
The link to the air to water pump and KB's intercooler mount photos too.

KB, since your intercooler is mostly behind the bumper do you have a scoop attached to it to direct airflow?

Great stuff guys.

I didn't notice any real difference in lag after I installed my intercooler. I don't really think its necessary if you only ever going to run 6 psi, but if you want to up the boost it and or meth will be necessary.

Concerning the ICEVEX, its 25" total with a 18" Core. From what I can tell from under the truck it appears as though it will mount up fine without cutting the supports. Now I am trying to determine if its big enough or not. I am putting the electric fans on this weekend so Ill have a better idea then on how I can run the piping for it.

kbracing96 and others in here, nice trucks, i want a fmic also but i think 1000+ from sts is a little steep, i like your cooler install ,im wondering how you piped it, did you buy piping from sts or some where else, i want a clean, semi painless install and save some$ in the process, thanks

Ya, I thought a grand was a bit steep too, so I built my own. I bought an ebay intercooler, some 2 1/2" and 3" aluminized steel mandrel bent 180's and some tubing from Summit, some t-clamps from McMaster Carr and some strait radiator hose for couplers from my local Carquest. I think all in all I spent around $400 in parts. I did reuse and modify some of the original STS parts too. I have more pics if there is something in-particular you want to see.
