2005 Silverado Radix installed in 2005.
The Bosch pump recently failed and I found chaffed wiring that caused it. It didn't blow any fuses, I only had noticed high IAT temps and looked into it.
So I install a new one and long story short, it blows the PCM B fuse immediately got a new one.
I direct wired it in a temp fasion to rule out any current wiring issues.
I have it all connected according to the paper, the fuel pump signal wire is the culprit, as soon as I touch it to the 85 terminal it pops the fuse.
Thanks, I just got it working. Its a new pump replacement so its fine and turns out all relays are not the same. They look the same but if one is a type A and it need a type B there in lies the issue, for me anyways.
The wires installed in 2005 had squirmed out of looming some how taking out the pump and relay. The relays I have around here were the issue. The pin outs and blade layouts all looked and were numbered the same but I guess there is a diode or resistor inside or something. I finally dug out an exact matching Bosch relay and I'm good.
