With the intercooler off...times were quicker
#1
As most of you know, I pulled the Vortech a/w intercooler off my setup. I figured it was a restiction by being too small. I'm just using the Snow Performance with straight h2o injection for intercooling. Even though I'm still tuning the new setup with a new 216 114 lsa cam at the track, my times have improved big time.
Old 1/8 mi times. 8.02@85.87
New 1/8 mi times. 7.69@89.35

I picked up a 1/2 lb of boost along the way. The new 1/8 mi times were with the 65# injectors and an 11.2 a/f. The 1.64 60' should have put me in the 11's. I'm working on a new fuel setup for now. I'll keep you posted.

That's strange, I would think that they should use the same intercooler as the Silverado SS kits. They have been used on some damn quick trucks. If you only picked up 1/2 psi of boost, that's not much restriction. I would think that there was something else that picked you up that much time.
