Just think what happens when I get my new house and I can do it at home! Yep- told my wife my only stipulation on the new house is 2 car attached garage and 1 car detached. The detached garage gets 12-15 foot ceiling and a hydraulic lift.

What can I do know???? Maybe a LS7 in an S10????

You will need 12.5" for enough clearence for most all lifts. They are in the 12' high range. Why settle for just a 1 car shop? If you have the room you better build it as big as you can. You will never have too much space, trust me.
What you "think" is going to be big enough.....double it.

A one stall garage is about 30'x60'x13'. Right? I mean once you get all the tools arranged there'd be room for about 1 truck. Right? Yeah.. sounds about right to me.

I guess I should have been a little more descripted- it'll only have one bay door, but be about twice the size of the 2 bay. I haven't checked into lift sizes yet, a buddy races at our local oval track and he has one in his shop and that was all I needed to see to know I had to have one. Whatever size it needs to be, it will be.

Yeah we went from a 40'X60' to a 50'X100' and it's still full. I'm gonna build mine 100'X200' and rent part of it out...till I need the rest of it.

Even using C02 with the spray bar (which is a lot cheaper then N02 and the same affect), I don't think you would gain that much with a few degrees cooler air.
i agree with this one too. co2 alot cheaper. i found lifts at about the $1000 to $2000 range. pm me if you want the site.
