Default intercooler/ heatexchanger

what is the cheapest type(air to water, water to water, air to air)?
what kind do all the turbo cars use?
can you use an intercooler designed for turbos, with a supercharger?
it seems as if fabing your own ic system is the only way to do it.
ohh and what minimum requirements should be met for a low boost aplication through a blower? im talkin like 10LBS or less.

i figure some whipple guys have done it, let me know.
thanx

I would say that air to air would be cheaper.
No heat secondary exchanger (radiator), no pump, no auxilary fan if needed.

check out these links for more info.

I don't know if your sidemount can make 10lbs on a 5.3? You can try, but you're right by needing a IC. You might want to look into meth injection first though.

one other question.
is there a difference between intercoolers designed for turbos and sc?
or are they universal for all FI applications?
