Default Inter cooler question

I already have a bigger heat exchanger for my Radix but I was wondering if this would work. Have you ever seen the tranny coolers or radiator coolers that Hot rodders use that go along the frame rail. If I ran like a 3 or 4 foot one along the frame rail would there be any benifit? Just thinking of ways to get my AIT's as low as possible.

are you talking about the tubular ones with fins ale the way around it? i know what you speakingof , but i think it would be better to just add a bigger heat exchanger, or get an ice box! im sure it would help but i wouldnt expect anything significant out of it!

What about the one magnacharger has for the Cadallac CTS-v ? It is about twice as big as the ones for our trucks. It was in Gm Hi-Tec Performance mag. last month.I was going to call Magnacharger but I guess I am too lazy. Besides I have to get my exhaust sys. set up first. I will call them if I have too. lol.

I have a heat exchanger about 2 1/2 times bigger than our stock one. Just looking for more.

I believe your pump flows about 5gpm. One of the tranny coolers is probably too restrictive to run in series, you would need to put it in parallel with your current one I would think. Don't know if you have meth injection but I was running a lot of it and @ 100% for use of the octane more so than the cooling effect since you have to inject it before the air is heated. That is one of the main reasons I was able to run 31* of timing.

I got the HX from a member here and he said he is not making them anymore so I won't post up his name. As for the 170* T-stat, I got it last year and I can't find the reciept, It was very hard to find, I didn't want the 160* and the 180* I had didn't even open until above 190* by the boiling water method. My 170* opens right at 180*
