Cool

I mounted my in-line pump in front of the filter to the bottom edge of the frame rail. I took the filter out of its holder and moved it after the pump. My pump came with barbs and I clamped high pressure fuel line on them. I double clamped the fuel line onto the stock steel line. I left the filttings in the filter cut the steel line and double clamped the fuel line from the pump to it and then from the filter back to the stock fuel line. There was a write up not long ago by blue 01 I think that did the job using proper fittings and looked very good. The only thing I did not like about it was the 180* bends but they may not hurt the flow that much or at least I hope they don't.

Part # to hard plumb wabro in-line

I bought a nice harness made by Racetronix. I put the relay on the firewall and grounded the relay to the ground stud on the firewall. I got 12v power from Stud #2 in the underhood fuse panel with an inline fuse and got the trigger from the grey fuel pump trigger wire in the underhood fuse panel. I ran the power out from the relay down the outside of the frame to the fuel pump and ran a ground wire back from the pump to the ground point on the frame near the front chassis mount on the driver's side.
I hope that the install goes well for you.

The grey wire is the trigger wire for the fuel pump. You use it to trigger the relay to send power to the inline pump when the stock pump gets power so the two of them are in sync and the online comes on for a couple of seconds to pump up the fuel pressure when you turn on the key and then comes on when you start the truck. Remember the inline fuel pump gets power from the relay and the relay gets power fron the Stud 2 position in the underhood fuse panel. That way the fuel pumps are only on when the egine is running and not when key on engine off (KOEO).
