Default IAT Temps, Whats acceptable and whats not?

So I just finished my procharger with a home built 3" CX racing front mount. Im making about 7ish lbs. Just was seeing what kind of IATs ranges are average?

As reference, today I was cruising to worth, with ambient temps about 58*, my iats were 71* on the freeway doing about 65, I stabbed it, and was WOT for about 5 second, my Iats jumped to just about 100* on my hptuners. Now this is my first FI car, but 30* in 5 seconds, in 58* weather seems a little high. But this may be average? Whats your guys insite?

With china cooler i seen temps up to 225* leaving the line at 120* (105 ambient)

They're junk imo.

For all claiming they work just fine spraying a gallon of meth, if you ran on the track with and without the ic id be willing to bet times would be equal or even faster without the ic.

The smaller 3" ones do struggle, but the 4" ones work ok.

The temp rise sounds about right actually.

The cooler is 25x12x3, but the core is really 18x12x3, and its mounted directy behind the grill. Nothing but the slats in grill blocking air. Seems small now that I think about it.

The temp rises seem OK. 100* really isnt anything to worry too much about.

Next time keep it buried longer and see how drastically they keep climbing. On pump gas justr make sure your IAT timing tables are set OK to pull timing at a certain IAT temp to keep things safe.

Prochargers create heat when spun...anything less then a 4" core is a joke on a v8

Thanks dude I appreciate it.

Looking at the Treadstone TR1235. Thinking that should keep things a little cooler.
